Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts
Masterpiece Whitetails is a premiere whitetail deer hunting location! All our trophy whitetail deer hunts are catered to meet the dreams and expectations of each individual hunter. The whitetail herd at Masterpiece Whitetails is second to none! We have worked tirelessly to grow a strong, healthy, and mature deer herd. The herd has a well-balanced buck to doe ratio as well as a balanced age structure to insure good health and genetics.
Guided Trophy Deer Hunts
All our guided trophy deer hunts are 3.5 days; they begin Sunday afternoon and go through Wednesday morning, or you can choose to arrive Thursday afternoon and hunt through Sunday morning. There is a 100 yard and 200-yard range for everyone to check zero on their hunting rifle. We also have an archery range for our bowhunters to stay sharp for the entire length of their guided trophy deer hunt.
Rifle hunting is primarily done from enclosed 10’ Redneck and Muddy shooting houses. However, there are many days we spend our afternoons glassing the brushy river bottoms, looking for a mature buck and then preparing for a stalk. Archery hunters will spend their days in 2 - man ladder stands, or a double hung set for you and your hunting guide. These guided trophy deer hunts can be extremely challenging, requiring the hunter and guide to be diligent and patient in their quest for a giant mid-west whitetail.
You and your trophy deer hunting guide will trek around the ranch aboard a John Deere Gator. This gator is a well-equipped, 6 passenger, 4-wheel drive, deer hauling machine! Each gator has a secure firearm rack, winch for game recovery, front windshield to block the wind and comfortable padded seats.
Our guided trophy deer hunts packages consist of one-on-one or two-on-one guiding, private lodging, meals, and beverages. We start each morning with something small to eat and a cup of hot coffee. After your morning whitetail hunt you will be greeted with a hot breakfast, fresh fruit, and a refreshing beverage of your choice. Lunch is something casual when you're hungry in the afternoon and then a hot and hearty meal after your evening trophy whitetail deer hunt. Daily housekeeping services are provided for your utmost comfort!

Hunting Season in Michigan
Our hunting season in Michigan begins in late August or early September for beautiful velvet antlered whitetails. The temperatures this time of year range from the low 50’s in the mornings and mid 70’s in the afternoon. As the hunting season progresses things begin to cool down and the days become cool and crisp. The late season whitetail hunts are a true adventure, as temperatures drop to single digits and the ground is covered in a blanket of white snow.

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Ranch
The trophy whitetail deer hunting ranch terrain is very unique to this area. Our habitat team has spent countless hours surveying the land, cutting timber, creating cover, making roadways and planting food for the deer. When you enter the trophy whitetail deer hunting ranch, you will immediately see a lush green field, with a constant water source. Across the creek you will find another green field with grape vines, fruit trees and surrounded by mast producing trees. The center of the trophy whitetail deer hunting ranch is a large hardwood flat with elevation changes, dropping down to a winding creek on the east and a river on the west. The south end of the trophy whitetail deer hunting ranch is a large pine thicket with a food plot in the middle. As you travel north you will find our largest food plot. This 20-acre field changes each hunting season. Our farming team plants soybeans, corn, turnips, or alfalfa. In the middle of the hardwood flats we have planted a small clover plot, surrounded by cover, providing the trophy whitetail deer a secure place to eat.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required in order to make a reservation.
The hunter will need to pay 1/2 of the hunt by May 1st and the balance is due when you harvest your animal.
